Families: Family Matters

This programme is based upon a family learning model piloted in the UK by Liverpool Hope University.

The main aim of Family Matters is to support and develop parents both as learners and educators.

The Family Matters project plans to target the most hard to reach parents with the aim of engaging them in their own and their children's learning.

Family Matters bridges the gap between first steps into learning and certificated provision.

University for Children and Communities has facilitated Family Matters in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.
